Aside from medications, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery, there are no other proven treatments for ovarian cancer at this time. Many cancer centers are exploring the potential of vaccines and immunotherapies. Ask your doctor if you should consider participating in a clinical trial of any of these treatments. Be skeptical of providers who claim to have greater success than conventional therapies; be especially suspicious of claims to cure ovarian cancer by diets and supplemenmts.
